Seth Clottey currently lives and works in Accra, Ghana where he was born in 1962. Upon obtaining his degree at the Ghanatta College of Art in Accra, he upholds his reputation as a dynamic Ghanaian artist who displays a revolutionary fervour difficult to ignore.
His paintings encompass a wide range of subjects, from the Market Scenes through Beaches and Beachscapes to City Scenes and Ghetto-Like depictions. An overarching display of passion and commitment expand throughout his works rarely evident among young people.
He shows the promise of a future made certain. As a young artist he has a truly significant contribution to make: unwilling to copy the popularism or settle for the mundane, Seth is chanting for himself and his generation, new and challenging standards making him a leading catalyst in the current art world.
